Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information is-cod.in handles when you create an account, request a subdomain, or use the dashboard.
Information we collect
We collect the information needed to operate your account and publish the DNS records you request.
- Basic profile information supplied by GitHub or Google, such as your name, email address, avatar, and provider account identifier.
- Subdomain requests, DNS record values, review notes, and the actions you take in the dashboard.
- Operational data such as timestamps, security events, IP addresses, browser details, and application logs.
How we use information
- Authenticate users and provide the dashboard.
- Validate, review, publish, update, and remove DNS records.
- Detect abuse, investigate suspicious requests, and protect the platform.
- Maintain service reliability, troubleshoot errors, and improve the product.
- Contact you about important account, moderation, or service changes.
Automated analysis
Record requests are evaluated by an in-built rules and scoring engine. It considers DNS validity, platform policy, account history, submission velocity, and abuse indicators. The engine does not send request data to an external AI provider. A human administrator reviews requests when the score or policy requires more attention.
Service providers
We use third-party infrastructure to operate is-cod.in. This may include Auth.js and OAuth providers for authentication, Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL for application data, and Cloudflare for DNS operations. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
Retention and security
We keep account, DNS, review, and audit data for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, enforce our terms, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We use access controls and reasonable technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your account. Some records may be retained when required for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or legitimate operational needs.
Policy changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Material changes may also be communicated through the service.
